One dead after fiery morning crash in Thomaston FOX61 Hartford

THOMASTON — A woman was killed after her car careened down an embankment and slammed into a tree in Thomaston. Connecticut State Police said a serious accident closed Route 8 Southbound in Thomaston for several hours this morning. Troop L initially responded to the call and reported serious injuries after discovering the vehicle and driver over the northbound side of the highway after 8 a.m. Saturday.
