Hello everyone,
Things have been crazy here at CVA Central. I've had a ton of stuff going on and just have been nuts, so some stuff has fallen behind a little bit. So, I am writing this email to let everyone know about our 3rd annual Spring Kick-off party in Simsbury at the fireman's clubhouse. It will be held from 3-8 pm on Saturday March 29th.
The club will provide hot dogs, burgers, and soda. Bring your own beer, and bring a side dish, dessert, or other food item to share pot-luck style.
We will be doing a state of the club address and will be taking suggestions from all of you. We hope to see you all there so that we can hear your input and what you think we should be doing as a club. We also will be discussing how to handle our selection of officers and all of our upcoming events. If you have ideas or input, this is your chance to present them.
Directions are:
Simsbury Fireman's Clubhouse, 30 Town Forest Rd Simsbury CT
I-91 to Rt 20 West (Bradley Airport exit) to Granby center; turn LEFT on Rt 10 and follow to Simsbury center; turn RIGHT onto West St./Rt 309/Rt 167; at second light turn LEFT onto Bushy Hill Road / remain Rt 167 (by big white church steeple); at the next light turn RIGHT on Stratton Brook Rd. then take second LEFT on Town Forest Rd. and 3rd driveway on the RIGHT is the clubhouse.
I-84 to UConn Hospital exit in Farmington; follow Rt 4 West to Rt 10 North into Avon then into Simsbury (must go West on Rt 44 for about 1 mile). Pass Rt 185 traffic light and take 2nd LEFT onto Stratton Brook Rd. Go past Bushy Hill Rd. then take second LEFT on Town Forest Rd. and 3rd driveway on the RIGHT is the clubhouse.
