Type 4 - 411/412

This 412 belonged to my wife's grandparents and was their daily driver until age prevented them from driving and it was taken out of service about 10 years ago. Since that time, it has been sitting in a barn and has not been moved or started.

The car is all original and 100% intact, the interior is in good shape, the paint quite faded. There is no major body rust and the car has never had any body damage or work.

The grandfather and his son owned a VW repair shop and so the car was mechanically maintained right up until it was parked, making it a prime candidate for restoration or as parts for a restoration.

My intent had been to restore the car at sometime, but I developed a love for old Jeeps instead.

Both of the Grandparents recently passed away and we would like to see the car move on to someone that will put it to use.

The car is a 1974 412 4-door sedan with a 1.8L engine with an automatic transmission and has a black interior.
